Forged fittings made of Incoloy 800 are popular because of their high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization, and other types of high-temperature corrosion. Even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures, the fittings are capable of keeping robust and preserving their austenitic structure.

Using a corresponding filler metal, Incoloy 800 forged fittings can be welded using standard welding procedures. Incoloy 800 can be hot worked at temperatures ranging from 871 to 1232 degrees Celsius (1600 to 2250 degrees Fahrenheit). 

Incoloy 800 forged fittings can be used in various applications like – heat exchangers, carburizing equipment, heating elements, sheathing, and nuclear steam-generator tubing.

Incoloy 800H forged fittings and Incoloy 800HT forged fittings have nickel, iron, and chromium in their alloy. These materials resist corrosion, carburization, oxidation, and other types of corrosion caused due to high temperatures. When compared to Incoloy 800 forged fittings, there is a higher level of carbon present in both grades. Incoloy 800HT has added aluminum and Titanium. Other than this, the chemical composition of Incoloy 800H and Incoloy 800HT is identical to  Incoloy 800.
