Titanium Valves exhibit exceptional mechanical properties. For example, they have a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent resistance to corrosion. They display optimum strength and stiffness at minimum cost. Titanium Valves have a robust build quality and can last a long time if used under the right circumstances. Due to all these properties, Titanium valves are used in Aerospace, transportation, power generation, and chemical industries. Titanium is regarded as one of the strongest metals. It is an excellent metal for a range of applications due to its strength, heat, water, and salt resistance, as well as its lightweight. A titanium Valve is a type of fitting which is used to regulate the flow of a liquid/gas in a piping system. Titanium Valves have extremely high tensile strength. A small layer of oxide is applied to these valves. The presence of this oxide acts as a corrosion barrier for the metals beneath it. Titanium Valves also display excellent biocompatibility.
We have a large variety of Titanium valves, which include Titanium Gate Valve, Titanium Globe Valve, Titanium Check Valve, Titanium Plug valve, Titanium Ball Valve, Titanium Butterfly Valve, Titanium Needle Valve, Titanium Pinch Valve, and Titanium Pressure Relief Valve.
Titanium Valves are often used in Chemical processing, Chlorate Manufacturing, Desalination, construction, Marine industry, etc.
When should I replace my titanium valves?
Replacing the titanium valves in your engine should be done at regular intervals according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Generally speaking, it’s recommended to replace them every 50,000-70,000 miles depending on how you drive. Extreme hot and cold conditions, as well as stop-and-go traffic can put an extra strain on these parts so keeping up with regular check-ups can save you more money in the long run by preventing any unfortunate need for replacements. If you hear loud ticking sounds when driving or notice decreased fuel efficiency then a valve replacement may be necessary; if that’s the case, consider refueling your ride with some new titanium valves for a smoother journey ahead!
How do you know if your valves are damaged?
One of the surest ways to know if your valves are damaged is by listening for any abnormal noises or changes in the sound of your vehicle’s engine. Unusual screeching, rattling and squealing can indicate a problem with one or more valves. Additionally, if there is sudden difficulty starting your car or odd changes in oil pressure, this could be an indication of valve malfunction as well. Regular and routine tune-ups are key in monitoring the health of your vehicle’s valves, so make sure to schedule yours at least once a year to ensure that they remain in good condition.
Do titanium valves need lash caps?
Regarding performance and longevity, titanium valves are an excellent choice. However, titanium valves must be outfitted with lash caps to stay protected against the extreme temperatures and pressures associated with engines. By preserving the valve stems from directly interacting with combustion gases and oil-soluble particles generated within the cylinder, lash caps help moderate wear on titanium valves over time. Lash caps also minimize noise due to asymmetrical valve movement or adjustments made during engine tuning; this is especially important for racing applications where fractions of a second make all the difference. Overall, installing lash caps is essential for ensuring that your titanium valves last as long as possible.
