Table Of content
These Inconel 617 Pipe Fittings are used in various industrial applications, including ducting systems for aircraft, Exhaust systems for jet engines, Systems for reversing engine thrust, Expansion joints, and bellows, Rings for turbine shrouds, Stacks of flare, Components of seawater, Chemical process equipment for oxidizing and reducing mixed acids. These maximum chemical composition these Pipe Fittings have is Ni 44.5%, Cr 24%, Co 15%, Mo 10%, Fe 3% max, Si 1% max, Al 1.5%, Ti 0.6% max
Our Inconel 617 Pipe Fittings has a high Creep Rupture Resistance, Resistance to oxidation up to 1800 Degree F, also these Pipe fittings have excellent weldability. Good fatigue resistance, excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, Chloride ion stress corrosion cracking resistance, Seawater Resistance in both flowing and stationary circumstances, as well as fouling. These Fittings are packed in standard or customized form using plastic shrink sheets and then placed in wooden or cardboard boxes or pallets.
We provide a few essential test certification copies to the buyers such as radiography test report 100 %, Raw Material Certificate, Mill Test Certifications according to EN 10204/3.1b, customers report, and third-party test report.
Also, the documents of the Inconel 617 Pipe Fittings are supplied to the buyers by us to ensure that only the superior quality of the product is delivered, and also, it ensures that we are maintaining full transparency in our dealings with them. Heat treatment chart, quality assurance plan, packaging list, NABL approved lab test report, commercial invoice, fumigation certificate, etc. are all included.
What is special abouts 617 fitting ?
INCONEL 617 fitting is a solid-solution, strengthened nickel-chromium-cobalt molybdenum alloy with exceptional high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. The alloy also has excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, and it is readily formed and welded by conventional techniques. The combination of high strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures over 1800°F (980°C) makes INCONEL alloy 617 an attractive material for such components as ducting, combustion cans, and transition liners in both aircraft and land-based gas turbines.
What gas is used in Inconel 617 fitting welding?
Tungsten Inert Gas is used for Inconel 617 Welding because of the extremely high melting point of most Inconel alloys. Directly joining two Inconel workpieces (significantly larger ones) is often impractical. Instead, a welding process that combines high temperatures with filler material is often the best way to weld Inconel alloys. Most experienced welders recommend the TIG welding process with a filler material added. While this electrical arc welding process doesn’t typically require a filler material, it’s recommended for Inconel welding because it is hard to fuse two pieces of the alloy without cracking them.
Is INCONEL 617 pipe fitting a high temp alloy?
One of the most popular is Inconel 617 pipe fitting, known for its resistance to many forms of corrosion and high thermal-fatigue strength. Its service temperature range goes up to a high of 982°C, and it can resist a number of specific high-temperature effects such as oxidation and carburization. This alloy offers excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidizing gases, and it also exhibits low corrosion rates and resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in high-temperature water.
