Inconel UNS N08810/N08811 Valves have the same amounts of nickel, chromium, and iron and have equal corrosion resistance. Due to the high-temperature strength of alloys 800H and 800HT, the corrosive environments to which these alloys are subjected usually involve high-temperature processes such as oxidation and combustion of the fuel. Inconel alloys 800H and 800HT have good oxidation resistance due to their high chromium and nickel concentrations. The chromium in these alloys stimulates the creation of protective surface oxide, and the nickel adds to the protection, especially when exposed to high temperatures in a cyclic fashion. Inconel 800H’s Valve’s mechanical characteristics, when paired with their resistance to high-temperature corrosion, are outstanding.  Several applications involving long-term exposure to high temperatures and corrosive environments benefit from this feature. Industrial heating is another area where Alloy 800H and 800HT are widely used.  These alloys are utilized for radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, and other furnace fittings in a variety of heat-treating furnaces.  In gas-cooled nuclear reactors, Alloys UNS N08810/N08811 are also utilized for steam superheating tubes and high-temperature heat exchangers.
