 Incoloy 800 Instrumentation Fittings are made from a material that contains nickel, iron, and chromium. These fittings are resistant to extreme heat and corrosion. They also have a low nickel content.  The Incoloy 800 instrumentation fitting is durable and can maintain an austenite structure even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures. If the Incoloy 800 Flanges are exposed to any aggressive media at temperatures between 538°C and 760°C, the material can become sensitive and prone to intergranular corrosion.

Heat exchangers, carburizing equipment, heating components, sheathing, and nuclear steam-generator tubing are just some of the applications in which Incoloy 800 Instrumentation fittings are used.

Incoloy 800H Instrumentation fittings and Incoloy 800HT Instrumentation fittings have nickel, iron, and chromium present in the microstructures of their alloy. These materials display resistance to corrosion and carburization. There is a larger level of carbon in both grades when compared to Incoloy 800 Instrumentation fittings. Aluminum and Titanium have been added to Incoloy 800HT. Aside from that, Incoloy 800H and Incoloy 800HT have the same chemical compound as Incoloy 800.

Incoloy 800 Instrumentation Fittings, Incoloy 800H Instrumentation fittings and Incoloy 800HT Instrumentation fittings are often used in applications such as the paper industry and nuclear power plants where they are exposed to corrosive atmospheres and high temperatures. The petrochemical and chemical process industries use this alloy primarily for nitric acid medium piping systems and heat exchangers where resistance to chloride stress corrosion is required. Power plants use these alloys not only as superheater tubes but also as reheater tubes.
