Nickel 201 Flanges are made of Nickel that is wrought and commercially pure. It has properties similar to Nickel 200 Flanges. Nickel 201 is a variation of Nickel 200 that has had its carbon content decreased. They are designed and welded in such a way that they may be utilized in high-pressure, small-diameter pipes with ease. Nickel 201 flanges are widely utilized in a variety of applications, including heat exchangers, refineries, and the oil and gas sectors, due to their great stability and reliability. Nickel 201 Flanges form an oxide coating to protect themselves from corrosion. It is due to this property that Nickel 201 Flanges are extensively used to treat caustic soda.

Nickel 201 Flanges provide good corrosion resistance in acids and alkalis, which is especially useful in reducing circumstances. At room temperature, all dry gases are resistant to Nickel 201 Flanges, and they can be used in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride up to 550°C. Nickel 201 Flanges provide higher corrosion resistance in de-aerated acids. Nickel 201 Flanges are long-lasting and recyclable, this makes it more affordable than other flanges made of other alloys.
