Duplex Steel 32205 Valves are molybdenum, chromium, and nickel alloys with 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, and 6% nickel content. The austenitic-ferritic steel alloy 32205 Duplex is a type of austenitic-ferritic steel. UNS S32205 Valves have a better yield strength than other austenitic steels. This steel has a corrosion resistance that is comparable to that of austenitic steel. Duplex Steel 2205 Check Valves offer exceptional value for money due to their lower nickel and molybdenum content. The valves are solution treated and rapidly cooled to temperatures ranging from 1020 to 1100 degrees Celsius. As a result, they are not thermally hardened, but rather work hardened through the cold work process.
